Beth Doane
Founder & Designer, The Andira Rain-Tee Collection
Founder Andira International
Beth grew up surrounded by nature and wildlife on a small farm in rural Ohio and created Andira International in 2005 as a fashion import and distribution company. Always passionate about the environment and the importance of education, Beth designed and launched Rain Tees, in 2008 as a way to inspire consumers to take action on environmental and social issues. Beth additionally works as a consultant to corporations and designers interested in the marketing, production and design of eco-conscious products and speaks nationally about the need for more sustainable production and distribution. She is currently working on a children’s book about the value of our tropical ecosystems and believes that every one of us can take small steps to create global change.
"A Hippie in Heels"
When I was 8 years old I convinced my entire class at school to give me their lunch money in order to save the rain forest. This only got me to the principals office but my passion to inspire people to come together to create change never faded. I believe we are all connected, we are all powerful and we are all responsible for the future of this planet. If we want a beautiful tomorrow we have to start with right now. I use tees to save trees. I design fashion thats compassionate and use my voice to share both my bliss and my struggle in an industry that is notorious for being one of the most toxic on earth. I'm the girl who was always closer to animals than to people, more at home in nature than in an office. I am a style loving eco warrior- a hippie in heels who lives to express my hearts dreams. After all, it must be through dreaming that all things great come to be.

Laura Cardenas
Designer/Art Director
Laura Cardenas was raised in Ecuador to American-Ecuadorean parents and moved to the United States in 1990 to study art and design. She began her career as a graphic designer and then became an art director at some of the top firms in the country. Always fascinated with antique ethnic jewelry she eventually left corporate America to travel and explore exotic lands like Morocco and Thailand. Her experiences abroad inspired her to launch Artesania Jewelry- a completely handmade, fair trade and eco-conscious collection of rare stones, shells and silver. Laura's work in design, ad campaigns and production has made her a wonderful attribute to Andira's wide range of clients and projects and she is thrilled to share her personal experiences of growing up immersed in one of the most bio-diverse and critically endangered rain forests on earth with Rain Tees.
